Valery Krieg joined the Y.O.U. development team in 2008. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. Valery moved to the Chicago area to attend the School of Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago, where she received her Master's Degree.

Valery has experience in grants management and nonprofit fundraising, as well as community organizing. Before coming to Y.O.U., Valery worked in the Development Office at Children's Home + Aid.
